What an awesome PRSA International conference!  It was my first time participating, but since it was in San Francisco, right in my back yard, it was an easy decision to attend.  I certainly attend many webinars to learn about tools and methods, but it’s been a long time since I took several days out to dedicate to professional development.  The topics reflected the changing role of PR and the elements we now need to be proficient in – SEO, measurement, how we can extend our story development to the other marketing operations that can benefit.  I attended many valuable sessions, but one that really stands out for me was called Content Marketing & Public Relations, presented by Lee Odden of TopRank Marketing.  If you want to know why PR should care about Content Marketing, check out his slides.
