Introducing Outmarket (formerly Vocus Marketing Suite)
Earlier this year, Vocus and Cision were acquired by private equity firm GTCR, which has driven industry speculation on what’s next for these PR tools. More on that later…
Vocus had been selling a marketing component as part of their tool suite for nearly five years. In September, this was spun off as Outmarket, a new marketing automation tool targeting companies with $20 – 500 million in revenue, only 9% of which are currently using marketing automation. Their philosophy is that all organizations, not just the big-budgeted few, should have access to marketing automation.
The marketing automation industry is projected to grow from $3 million for companies with half a billion in revenue to $4.7 billion in the next two years. The value Outmarket has is they can sell you the software and also partner with you for content development, email marketing, analytics, SEO, competitive analysis and more. Pricing is customized based on need, ranging from $4,100 – 33K but overall there are four levels:
- Basic solution: does not include automation – $300/month
- Plus edition: Integrated Marketing for a growing business – $600/month landing pages, PR Web /campaign management dashboard
- Professional edition – $1000/month – is where automation kicks in and this also includes email marketing, press releases, business stream (social media monitoring) unlimited automation and custom objects, salesforce integration, APIs, website tracking, etc. Access to the North American database and up to 200 journalists for each press release you send out.
- Enterprise edition $2500/month: Comes with 4 profiles (like 4 different companies) all features in professional edition plus broadcast streaming and print. Greater level of customer support.
The OutMarket platform integrates email marketing, landing pages, social media management, press outreach, and includes robust analytics in a simple but comprehensive cloud-based solution. Check it out.
Junglebuzzprtools.com will be introducing a content marketing/marketing automation category in November where OutMarket (and others) will reside so stay tuned.
