A few things to note:

• You cannot use the same email address to set up both types of accounts.
• I Need A Speaker takes a 20% admin fee from speaker fees; there is no additional fee for the event planner.
• Event planners can search and contact speakers directly.
• Payment is made through the site. After I Need A Speaker receives the speaker’s completed and signed W-9, the speaker is paid his or her fee.
• The platform is being updated to include a search-to-payment system, so speakers can be booked fully online. Negotiation chats will be encrypted and saved on the profile for reference.
• The team are also adding a rating and review system for speakers and event planners.
• Also planned are  new user community resources expected Fall 2024.
