Features

Propel includes Media discovery, pitching in Gmail or Outlook, relationship building, media monitoring, and business outcomes measurement.

Propel also has some interesting features that assist agencies and individuals who pitch editors in Europe with adhering to GDPR policies.  For example,  in Propel, you have a central profile page for each reporter, which means data for him/her is uniform across all media lists. If you receive a new email address or phone number, it is updated in the reporter’s central profile  – and from there gets updated automatically in every media list.

Key Features (for monitoring & measurement) include:

Some of the most relevant features for the “media monitoring & measurement” category include:

  • Brand mentions tracking across multiple media types (online news sites, blogs/forums, social platforms, broadcast TV & radio) in real time

  • Sentiment analysis and share of voice metrics (e.g., compare brand vs competitors).

  • Custom dashboards and reports showing metrics like volume over time, volume by media type/outlet tier, sentiment trends, outlet tier breakdown.

  • Business-outcome / ROI measurement: Goes beyond basic coverage counts to measure attribution/correlation of PR activities to business outcomes (traffic, conversions, etc).

  • Alerts & scheduled reporting: set up automatic email delivery of coverage reports.

  • Integration with PR workflows: Because monitoring is built into the PRM tool, you can connect your pitching efforts with outcomes in one workflow (media lists → pitching → tracking → coverage measurement).

  • Broadcast monitoring: coverage of TV/radio stations in multiple countries.
